Last week we reported Scots Gogglebox couple Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle sparked backlash from fans after their comments about King Charles' Coronation and a chant about the royal family.
The Glasgow couple, who have been together for five years, joined the Channel 4 reality show last year and firmly became fan-favourites. Roisin, 23, and Joe, 25, appear on Gogglebox every week alongside their fellow castmates but while many other couples were excited to watch and discuss the clips of Charles' Coronation, including Stephen and Daniel, who wore special slippers, Joe and Roisin were not.
As they sat down to watch the clips, Joe turned to Roisin and said: "Do you want to hear my pledge? You can stick your Coronation up your a***, you can stick your Coronation up your a***."
At the time many fans were outraged and flocked to Twitter to rant, as 88 viewers issued a formal complaint to Ofcom. One wrote: "I loved every minute of it. Shame on the Glaswegian couple. Let us Glaswegians down with that vile remark."
