Coleen Campbell in court for conspiracy to murder after death of Thomas Campbell

A woman charged with conspiracy to murder following the death of 38-year-old Thomas Campbell has appeared in court. Coleen Campbell, 38, and two men, Stephen Cleworth, 37, and Reece Steven, 29, appeared over videolink at Manchester Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
They are each charged with conspiracy to murder after Mr Campbell’s body was discovered at a house in Tameside.
Mr Campbell was found at a property on Riverside, in Mossley, at around 10.30am on July 3 this year. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

During today’s short hearing (August 15), no pleas were entered and a preliminary trial date was fixed for January 9, 2023. A further case management hearing was also fixed for October 24 this year.
Ms Campbell, of Bamford Street, Clayton; Mr Cleworth, of Charles Street, Heywood; and Mr Steven, of Poplar Street, Middleton, were each remanded into custody until the next hearing.
