Paul McCartney duetted virtually with John Lennon during tonight’s Glastonbury headline set (June 25).Following the surprise arrival of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen during his set on the Pyramid stage, he linked up with former Beatles bandmate, the late Lennon during ‘I’ve Got A Feeling’.Speaking to the crowd, McCartney revealed that the idea came from Peter Jackson, the director of the recent extensive documentary Get Back, which was based on the studio sessions for the band’s final album ‘Let It Be’.Check out previous footage below of the collaboration previously shot in Washington State.The pair traded verses in the song, with Jackson having isolated Lennon’s vocal for the team-up. Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground production company is heading to Amazon’s Audible platform.Following the end of a three-year deal with Spotify, the Obamas have reportedly inked an exclusive multi-year, first-look deal with the Amazon-owned platform.While firm details surrounding the Obamas’ new deal with Audible remain unclear at this time, comments from Michelle Obama hint at the possibility of their content with Audible being released on multiple streaming platforms.The Audible deal will see the Obamas “keep striving to tell compelling, provocative, and soulful stories — while doing everything we can to make sure they reach the folks who need to hear them,” Michelle Obama told The Hollywood Reporter.A Higher Ground spokesperson also told The Hollywood Reporter that the two companies “plan to make the Audible Originals available to the widest possible audience”.The newly signed deal with Audible comes after the Obamas’ three-year deal with streaming giant Spotify ended earlier this year. The Spotify deal saw them “develop, produce and appear” on select podcasts through their Higher Ground production company.The Obamas’ contributions to Spotify notably included the eight-part podcast series Renegades: Born In The USA with Bruce Springsteen.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin joined puppet group The Weirdos for a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (June 10).The puppet band was created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, and recently signed to Atlantic and Parlophone Records.The Weirdos’ singer, Angel Moon, has been joining Coldplay on their current tour to sing ‘Music Of The Spheres’ track ‘Biutyful’. Martin returned the favour for the alien puppets’ Tonight Show appearance, sitting on a raised platform, playing acoustic guitar and trading verses with Angel Moon.Meanwhile, Moon’s bandmates Donk, Sparkman and The Wizard “played” bass, drums and keys for their debut TV performance.
