EXCLUSIVE: Rising British actor Emilia Jones has signed with Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Jones burst into the scene with her starring role as Rubi Rossi, the music-loving hearing daughter of the deaf family in the Sundance hit CODA. For her breakout performance in the Oscar-winning film, she received a BAFTA nomination. Jones was back at Sundance in January with two movies, Susanna Fogel’s Cat Person and Fairyland, produced by Sofia Coppola
She recently wrapped her second feature with director Fogel, Winner, a darkly comedic biopic opposite Zach Galifianikis and Connie Britton. It tells the story of Reality Winner, a former US Air Force member and NSA translator who was charged under the Espionage Act.
On the TV side, Jones most recently starred as Kinsey Locke in Locke & Key, which wrapped its three-season run on Netflix.
Jones, who didn’t have U.S. management representation, is also repped by CAA, ARG and Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson McGinnis Ryan.

NMIXX, has signed with a new label.Today (April 14), South Korean news publication Sports Kyunghyang reported that ex-NMIXX member Jinni has signed with a new agency called United Artist Production (UAP).In addition, the outlet also reported that UAP has inked a management collaboration deal with Sublime Artist Agency, home to Tiffany Young, Jackson Wang and more.Sublime Artist Agency has since confirmed the news in a statement to Star News. “Jinni recently signed an exclusive contract with UAP and we have decided to work together through the MOU collaboration,” the agency said.“We will provide generous support to UAP’s artist Jinni’s global activities so she can showcase her multitude of talents and potential, and we are delighted to be able to demonstrate our synergy together,” it added.UAP has since opened Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts, where they refer to the K-pop singer under the modified moniker of “Jini”.Jinni left NMIXX and JYP Entertainment in December 2022, less than ten months after the girl group made their debut in February of the same year.At the time, JYP Entertainment said that Jinni was leaving “due to personal circumstances”.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Paramount Television Studios (PTVS) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners have entered into a multi-year first-look deal. Under the deal, the studio will co-develop and co-produce scripted series with Brillstein Creative Partners (BCP), Brillstein’s production arm, for Paramount platforms like Paramount+, Showtime, and CBS, as well as outside platforms. “We are incredibly excited about this new venture with Brillstein,” said Nicole Clemens, president of Paramount Television Studios and Paramount+ Original Scripted Series. “We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with their managers and stellar roster of clients over the years and look forward to deepening and strengthening those partnerships as we collaborate with Allie Goss and her team to produce a slate of compelling new series for the global market.”

The series, which has the working title “Wasted,” will follow the story of a junior doctor and the ancestral legacy which looms over today’s generation of Muslim immigrants. As an actor Razia most recently played Shandy Fine in hit Apple TV+ series “Ted Lasso.” Razia’s previous writing credits include “Hounslow Diaries” for BBC Three, which was adapted from the stage play “Diary of a Hounslow Girl,” a project that looked at the lives of modern Muslim girls in London. Recent stage plays include “POT” and “Favour.” She has also been part of the writers’ room for Channel 4’s BAFTA-winning series “We Are Lady Parts,” directed by Nida Manzoor, and Disney+ show “Extraordinary.”
