Frank Ocean singing at his high school graduation – check out the video below.The recently surfaced video shows Ocean singing at his 2005 high school graduation in New Orleans.The video begins with another graduate introducing Ocean — born Christopher Breaux – before he takes the mic and leads his class and the audience in singing the John Ehret High School Alma Mater.Check out the moment here:Last month, there were reports that Ocean is reportedly set to direct his debut movie, with independent studio A24 in talks to distribute the project.According to Discussing Film, A24 – the company behind Uncut Gems and Everything Everywhere All At Once – and another production company, 2AM, are both in line to work on the unnamed project.Ocean has a connection to A24, having licensed his music to a number of the studio’s films in the past – including Waves, which featured his songs ‘Godspeed’ and ‘Seigfried’ – and wrote the foreword to a published version of Moonlight in 2019.A24’s previous link-ups with musicians include a production deal with Travis Scott in 2021, with Scott’s company Cactus Jack signing up for a series of films.It was also reported in 2020 that Ocean had been working on a “secret” project with Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino. No further details about the potential plot, cast or release date of Ocean’s latest potential film have been confirmed yet.Despite being confirmed for Coachella 2023, the last glimpse of new music from Ocean came on Christmas Day last year, when he shared a new song on his Apple Music show, Blonded Radio.Ocean added that the new song, which appears to be untitled, was recorded in a single take with Cory Henry in summer 2020.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a six-date tour of Australasian stadiums, for which they’ll be joined by Post Malone.It’ll be the first tour for both acts in 2023, kicking off in the New Zealand city of Auckland on Saturday January 21. They’ll play in Dunedin next, before heading over to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.Tickets for all shows can be found here.

Sunmi has announced the dates for her upcoming 2022 ‘Gone Girl Gone Mad’ tour of North America and Europe.Yesterday (June 29), the K-pop idol announced that she is set to go on a 15-date tour of North America and Europe later this year. Sunmi will be kickstarting the tour in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, with a show in August, before heading to six more cities in Europe, including Paris and London.After which, she will head over the pond to North America for an eight-show run in September.

Nova Twins have announced their second tour of North America for 2022, returning with their just-released ‘Supernova’ album.The London-native punk duo made their stateside debut back in March, performing a showcase at this year’s SXSW alongside a handful of club gigs. The ‘Supernova’ tour will be their first proper trek of the continent as a headlining act, with 11 intimate shows lined up across September and October.They’ll start at The Roxy Theatre in LA, performing on Tuesday September 27, before rolling through San Francisco and Seattle over the last few days of the month.

Alvvays have announced they’ll kick off a North American headline tour in October, and have also seemingly teased new music.The Canadian dream pop outfit will commence the run on October 14 in Chicago, continuing along with shows in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Texas, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and more before wrapping up November 18 in Boston. Declan McKenna has announced he’ll embark on a North American tour in September in support of latest album ‘Zeros’, over two years since it arrived and marking his first shows Stateside since 2019.The 15-date run will begin on September 25 at in Seattle, and will also include stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Texas and more. Coachella 2023 have been announced by organisers, alongside details of advance ticket sales.The festival made its return in April after being cancelled for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.Now, its 2023 edition has been confirmed, with its now-traditional two weekends to take place between April 14-16 and April 21-23. An advance sale for tickets will begin at 10am PT (6pm BST) on Friday (June 17).Fans can register here for access to the first round of sales.

Morrissey has shared full details of dates and venues for his forthcoming UK tour.Last week, the former Smiths star announced nine forthcoming shows in Blackpool, Doncaster, Glasgow, Stockton, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Brighton along with his previously announced concert in Ireland.Now, he has given a further update on the tour on his Instagram page. The jaunt will see Morrissey kick off the tour at the Gleneagles INEC Arena in Killarney on September 24 before wrapping up at Brighton Centre on October 14.The tour will also include two London dates at the capital’s Coliseum and the O2 Academy Brixton on October 9 and 11.
