Come all ye faithful, as Manchester's famous Bridgewater Hall gets ready to host the events of the season once again. Raymond Gubbay's fantastic Christmas festival offers an unbeatable line-up that the whole family can enjoy.
This incredible range of brilliant shows runs between Sunday, December 11, 2022, through to Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Many popular shows from last year will be returning, as well as new and unseen performances.
Festive carols, film scores, seasonal songs and dance are bound to bring joy to city-goers, as both the young and old indulge in show-stopping entertainment. Tickets for each event are on sale now and are expected to sell out fast.
The season kicks off with A Dickensian Christmas. Toast the festive spirit with Charles Dickens and celebrate the very best of Victorian carols, classics and a selection of readings from Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
Join in with favourite seasonal songs including Joy to the World, Sussex Carol, I Saw Three Ships, Ding Dong Merrily on High, In the Bleak Midwinter, and Silent Night. Carols for visitors of all ages will include God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, Good king Wenceslas, O Come All Ye Faithful, O come Emmanuel and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.
