There are conflicting reports regarding where Chris Rock and Will Smith currently stand.
While a report from Sean “Diddy” Combs earlier in the day suggested that the two patched things up already, another report from TMZ on Monday afternoon (March 28) insists that the two haven’t even spoken yet since the slap incident at the 2022 Oscars due to a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith regarding her hair.

A source with direct knowledge tells the outlet that they haven’t settled anything yet.
“In fact, we’re told the whole thing stunned Chris, who went straight to his dressing room after the slap and there has been no communication since between the two men,” they added.
A close friend of Chris tells the outlet that he went to his dressing room and then left the building. Another source told TMZ Chris had no idea Jada had alopecia and that he “doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”
Chris was left “shaken and bewildered” by Will, but he still went to Guy Oseary‘s Oscars After Party to try and have some fun afterward.
