In the new Netflix movie, Chris plays an assassin obsessed with tracking down his target (Ryan Gosling).
While speaking with Shondaland‘s Mariel Turner, Chris was asked if he’s ever been that dedicated to any sort of search in his life.
“I’m gonna give you a good answer,” Chris responded. “The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.”
He then went on to say that he’s very passionate about making movies, and admitted that balancing his career and finding love isn’t easy.
“I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it,” Chris explained. “But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into.”
He added, “Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that.”
Chris usually keeps his love life out of the public eye. His last public relationship was with Jenny Slate, whom he dated on and off from 2016 until 2018.
