Chloe Madeley gave birth to her baby girl last week on Wednesday 10 August, and she's taken to Instagram once again following the announcement of her daughter's arrival, as she admitted her child's birth "did not go to plan". The 35 year old daughter of British TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan shared an intimate photograph of herself as she was pregnant in what looked to be the hospital prior to giving birth.
In the snap, Chloe, who welcomed her first child with rugby ace boyfriend James Haskell, appeared to be naked from the waist down, wearing nothing but a crop top, as she looked slightly apprehensive. Alongside the snap, Chloe penned a long note about the birth, and expressed her "deepest, most heartfelt thank you to all the midwives out there", as well as paying tribute to her husband of four years for being her "dream birth partner".
The caption read: "Forever grateful that even though my childbirth did not go to plan, I was surrounded by compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable and experienced women from start to finish. "Here is my deepest, most heartfelt thank you to all the midwives out there who pull long shifts, have to make difficult decisions under pressure, have seen a hell of a lot of good and bad, and exercise compassion and reassurance every single day for those under their care.
"Also to the obstetricians who are exactly where they need to be, exactly when they need to be there, and who manage to see the whole thing through with what seems to be complete ease. "And @jameshaskell, after I nearly fired you from your post for fear you would be at another DJ gig when I went into labour, you were the DREAM birth partner.
