Cheryl Burke is speaking publicly about her ex-husband Matthew Lawrence‘s new romance.
If you didn’t know, the 38-year-old Dancing with the Stars alum filed for divorce from the 43-year-old Mrs. Doubtfire actor in February 2022 after three years of marriage. Their divorced was finalized in September.
Irreconcilable differences was listed as the cause for their split, but Cheryl has since alluded that Matthew cheated on her during their marriage.
In January 2023, it was revealed that Matthew is dating TLC‘s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. He recently opened up about the new relationship and revealed that they hope to have kids.
While appearing on The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever With Chris Harrison, Cheryl reacted to Matthew‘s new relationship and to him saying that he and Chilli, 52, want to have kids together.

“He comes from a huge family and there were definitely conversations but I always had said, ‘As long as I had to shove my body in a dance costume, me thinking about being pregnant probably isn’t something I can talk about at the moment,’” Cheryl said. “But yes, there were discussions about freezing my eggs.”
Cheryl went on to say, “I really truly hope he can actually have a kid with Chilli. I think that’s amazing. I think he’s wanted that.”
Cheryl also admitted to being a big TLC fan, but joked that she won’t be going one of their shows anytime soon.
“I’m not going to a concert,” Cheryl joked. “But I will still sing along to the song ‘No Scrubs.’”
Cheryl also recently opened up about possibly dating again after her divorce.
