Chelsea are reportedly keen on signing Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez.
The Algeria international is enjoying a brilliant season for the Blues, scoring 21 goals in 33 appearances. Two of the aforementioned goals came in City's 4-1 demolition of rivals Manchester United at the weekend.
According to Foot Mercato, both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to take advantage of Mahrez's 'contract situation'. The forward's current deal runs out in the summer of 2023.

Chelsea are believed to have been 'working on the matter' for several weeks and are keen on the 31-year-old. The report also adds that a deal could be done within the region of €30-40m (£25m-£33m). PSG reportedly view Mahrez as a potential replacement for Angel Di Maria.
In terms of incomings, City are believed to be keen on signing a player Newcastle United courted in January, with Sevilla defender Diego Carlos on Pep Guardiola's radar. Jurgen Klopp is also thought to be interested in the 28-year-old.
Fichajes claim that the Magpies haven't given up hope of signing Carlos. However, City and Liverpool will now also be vying for his signature.
