Lana Del Rey‘s father Rob Grant has shared a second preview of his debut album – listen to ‘Poetry Of Wind And Waves’ below.As announced last month, Grant will release debut album ‘Lost At Sea’ on June 9 via Decca Records. The album will feature Lana herself – real name Lizzie Grant – on the album’s title track and another song called ‘Hollywood Bowl’, while its first preview came in the form of ‘Setting Sail On A Distant Horizon’.Discussing its follow-up, ‘Poetry Of Wind And Waves’, Grant said in a statement: “The ‘Poetry Of Wind and Waves’ is a song about the rhythm of the ocean… and the hypnotic beauty of the waves as they rise and fall. When I composed this piece I was in the studio in LA, playing a beautiful concert grand..The studio was intimate and dark with soft ambient light.“I imagined myself alone on a beach with a gentle wind blowing and the sound of the waves whispering around me.

The Chemical Brothers have released a new single called ‘No Reason’ – you can listen to it below.The energetic, upbeat track marks the first material from the electronic duo – comprising Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – since their 2021 two-song release ‘The Darkness That You Fear’.“‘No Reason’ is unmistakable and irresistible, built from a cascading melody, a heavy acid riff and a snare roll that rattles like a military tattoo,” a press release reads.The single, a highlight of the band’s recent live shows and DJ sets, was mastered in Dolby ATMOS by Beatles producer Giles Martin at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.The track is accompanied by a surreal animated visualiser that will be familiar to anyone who saw one of The Chemical Brothers’ 2022 festival shows. Tunisian Murder Mystery ‘Ashkal’ Triumphs At FESPACOTunisian director Youssef Chebbi’s investigative thriller Ashkal has won the top prize at the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO). The festival, which ran from February 25 to March 4, unfolds every two years in Burkina Faso’s capital of Ouagadougou and is regarded as Africa’s equivalent of Cannes. Chebbi’s murder mystery revolves around a series of killings at a construction site on the outskirts of the Tunisian capital of Tunis. The film world premiered at Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and then played a raft of other festivals including Toronto and London. The FESPACO jury head, producer Dora Bouchoucha, praised the film’s pairing of a strong aesthetic with a politically tuned-in storyline. Burkinabe filmmaker Apolline Traore won the Silver Stallion for Sira, about a woman kidnapped by Jihadists, and Kenyan director Angela Wamai took home the Bronze Stallion for Shimoni, about a schoolteacher rebuilding his life in his remote village after a harsh stint in jail.
