Charli XCX drops “sexy” new disco pop single ‘Baby’

Fontaines D.C. have shared the brand new single and title track from their forthcoming new album ‘Skinty Fia’ – listen to the track below.The song is the third to be lifted from the record, which is set for release on April 22 via Partisan Records, after previous singles ‘I Love You’ and ‘Jackie Down The Line’.According to a press release Skinty Fia is an Irish phrase which means “the damnation of the deer”, which is used to display disappointment or annoyance.

There's five days to go until Charli XCX unleashes her fifth studio album Crash, but apparently there are even more surprises on the way. 

Aitch has shared a brand new single – watch the video for ‘Baby’ below.The track, produced by Fred Again…, is the Manchester rapper’s first solo single of the year and the latest preview of his forthcoming debut album.‘Baby’ samples Ashanti‘s ‘Rock Wit U (Aww Baby)’, with Aitch adding a contemporary rap feel to the R&B classic.The accompanying video, directed by Zain Alexander Shammas, sees the rapper in Malibu, going through the highs and lows of a relationship. The sun-tinged video features VHS clips of intimate moments, plus a cameo from the rapper’s current girlfriend, Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg.Aitch, who presented the award for Best Solo Act In The World with Big Zuu to Burna Boy at the BandLab NME Awards 2022 spoke to NME on the red carpet about the single.“I think everyone’s gonna love it,” he said of the track.

Charli XCX has recalled the time that Cardi B called her “Charli STD” on Twitter – check out the clip below.Charli appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Friday night (March 4), having released her latest single ‘Baby’ last Tuesday (March 1).At one point in the conversation, the singer looked back on her collaborative track with Cardi B and Bebe Rexha, ‘Girls’, which came out in 2018.“It was one of those scenarios where we never actually met when we made the song,” Charli told Fallon. “We shot the music video separately, and we were sending verses and whatever.”She continued: “And then she tweets the song, and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, Cardi B tweeted my name! Oscar Isaac is hosting the new episode of Saturday Night Live this weekend with musical guest Charli XCX, who is finally getting her moment in the spotlight.

Camila Cabello has released her new collaboration with Ed Sheeran – you can listen to ‘Bam Bam’ below.First announced last month, the singer/songwriter then shared a snippet of the track earlier this week (February 28).Cabello has now released ‘Bam Bam’, which was produced by Ricky Reed, Edgar Barrera and Cheche Alara and written by Cabello, Sheeran and Reed.The track is Cabello’s first new music release of 2022 and is the latest preview of her forthcoming new album ‘Familia’, which is set for release on April 8.The video for ‘Bam Bam’ has also been released this afternoon (March 4), which was directed by Mia Barnes in collaboration with Dave Meyers – you can watch the colourful clip below.Speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe this week, Cabello said of ‘Bam Bam’: “I wanted to make a song that had English words, but gives me that same feeling that a lot of these Latin songs give us.
