The nation has entered a period of mourning following the death of Britain's longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty passed away on 8 September at the age of 96 at her Scottish residence Balmoral Castle with her family by her side. People across the UK have paid tribute to the late monarch, with many travelling to Buckingham Palace to leave flowers, cards and gifts.
Numerous celebrities have shared loving tributes to Her Majesty and some have even headed to the palace to pay their respects, including Holly Willoughby, Vanessa Feltz and Rochelle Humes. Vanessa, 60, arrived holding a bouquet of flowers alongside two of her grandchildren and shared a video to Instagram explaining how there were "thousands and thousands" of well-wishers present at Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, This Morning presenter Holly, 41, headed to the palace with her three children, Harry, 13, Belle, 11, Harry, nine, and Chester, seven.
She shared snaps of her three kids paying their respects to the late monarch, revealing that they'd each written a "beautiful" card. Fellow This Morning star Alison Hammond, 47, also travelled to Buckingham Palace, as well as Rochelle Humes, 33, who took her two daughters, Alaia-Mai, nine, and five year old Valentina, with her.
