Celebrity MasterChef viewers were enjoying the entertaining antics of Su Pollard and Bez in the kitchen last night as the new series launched on BBC One. Competing in the cooking contest on yesterday's episode were Happy Mondays dancer Bez, Hi-de-Hi!'s Su, EastEnders actress Rita Simons, Blue's Duncan James, and comedian Munya Chawawa.

Katie Price sailed through to the Celebrity MasterChef semifinals by showing off her culinary skills. The 43 year old star impressed the judges in all three rounds of the competition, getting herself to the next stage alongside Dion Dublin and Joe Swash.
Katie managed to identify all the tropical fruits correctly on the first challenge, before making a respectable sweetcorn fritter and smashed avocado dish. In the third challenge Katie had to make dumplings and impressed again, with Greg Wallace calling her food "fantastic".
