Celebrity MasterChef eliminates major star after disaster dishes

Celebrity MasterChef semi-final tonight (September 16), the four remaining chefs fought for their place in tomorrow's final – but one celebrity had to be eliminated. The four best cooks – Dion Dublin, Joe Swash, Kadeena Cox MBE and Megan McKenna – faced their toughest challenge of the competition: the Chef's Table, hosted by Tom Kerridge.

Celebrity MasterChef kicked off finals week tonight (September 15) on BBC One, which meant that they turned up the heat to 11. Our five remaining celebs – Kem Cetinay, Dion Dublin, Joe Swash, Kadeena Cox MBE and Megan McKenna – were whisked off to Holborn Dining Room and placed under the tutelage of Calum Franklin, who is known for creating complex and elegant pies.

Celebrity MasterChef has booted off another famous face who was vying for a place in the most stressful final on telly. It was a tough one tonight (September 10) as the wannabe chefs faced the terrifying task of impressing the professional eaters, also known as the restaurant critics, and these were Jimmy Hamriya, Grace Dent and William Sitwell.

Katie Price sailed through to the Celebrity MasterChef semifinals by showing off her culinary skills. The 43 year old star impressed the judges in all three rounds of the competition, getting herself to the next stage alongside Dion Dublin and Joe Swash.

Celebrity MasterChef on Tuesday as Katie Price, Dion Dublin, Melissa Johns and Joe Swash cooked up a storm in the BBC kitchen. After losing Will Kirk on Monday, John and Gregg decided to send home Melissa at the end of the second instalment of the week.

Katie managed to identify all the tropical fruits correctly on the first challenge, before making a respectable sweetcorn fritter and smashed avocado dish. In the third challenge Katie had to make dumplings and impressed again, with Greg Wallace calling her food "fantastic".

BBC One viewers divided on Monday night as he appeared on the show. Many suggested Joe, who is partner of Stacey Solomon, the pregnant 31 year old Loose Women star, was rude to his fellow contestants.
