Ohio residents should reconsider traveling to the state of Ohio. The Ohio Department of Health’s list of states with a travel advisory — because of high COVID-19 testing positivity rates — now includes Ohio.

Oh deer!  Residents of an Ohio nursing home went for a holiday “deer hunt” earlier this week. On Monday, the staff at Continental Manor in Blanchester, Ohio, dressed as reindeer while residents sitting at a distance used nerf guns to “hunt” them.

Ohio state GOP lawmakers on Tuesday filed articles of impeachment against Republican Gov. Mike DeWine over his mask mandate and order for businesses to close to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has tested positive for COVID-19, the latest governor to test positive for the disease this year. "Governor Mark Gordon received results today of a COVID-19 test that showed he is positive for the virus," the governor's office said in a statement.

An Ohio man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly pulling out brass knuckles after refusing to wear a mask while shopping at Walmart. Colyn Tusing, 20, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon inside a Walmart store in the city of Sandusky.

Right before an Ohio restaurant temporarily closed its doors because of the state’s rising coronavirus cases, a customer stepped in to buy a $7 beer -- and left a $3,000 tip for the staff on his way out.  On Sunday, Brendan Ring, the owner of Nighttown in Columbus, Ohio, posted about the generous tip on social media.  According to the post, the customer ordered his drink right before Nighttown closed for the night. Sunday was also the restaurant’s last day before it temporarily closed.

A 24-year-old Ohio woman who was trapped inside a sinking minivan after crashing into a river Sunday night was rescued by quick-thinking police officers who jumped into the cold waters and pulled her to safety. The woman was driving home from work around 9 p.m.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine issued a 21-day curfew starting Tuesday to combat the spread of the coronavirus, which is seeing a resurgence in cases across the country.  The curfew will run from 10 p.m.
