Catherine Tyldesley says co-star Alan Davies helped support her after she was overcome with morning sickness on the set of detective drama McDonald & Dodds.The former Corrie star was overcome with nausea after filming started not long after she discovered she was pregnant with her second child. Catherine, who guest stars in the first film-length episode of the returning series, said: “The producer, Rebecca, was absolutely fantastic because I was quite sick on some of the days we were filming, and I was so well looked after.

In an interview ahead of the new series she also praised her industry for accommodating working mums.The actress, who gave birth to Iris Moss in April, said she often takes her two month-old on set.
