A Scots man says he is no further forward in finding out what happened to his car after it was smashed up in a suspected hit and run while parked on a street.
Tom Hutchison was alerted by a neighbour to the damage at the start of the week. He suspects his car was damaged by another road user, who failed to leave a note, as the street he lives on in Edinburgh is prone to speeding drivers making risky overtakes.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Tom said he suspects the damage was caused by a driver making a risky overtake on the fast road, where he said accidents tend to happen quite frequently. Tom added that he relies on the car for work, and it is now barely driveable.

"This particular road features many driver who, at times, speed and overtake, which I suspect was the case with my experience of this hit and run. After the incident, and on the same day, I was coming out to go to my car which was parked where I left it the night before, and I
