Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex have been seen riding in cars to Westminster Hall, as their husbands, Prince William, Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex take part in the procession of the Queen's coffin from Buckingham Palace. Camilla, Queen Consort, 75, and Kate, 40, wife of second-in-line to throne Prince William, were seen in a car together while Meghan, 41, was travelling in a car behind with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 57.The coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died on 8 September, was moved from Buckingham Palace at the highly significant time of 2.22pm to Westminster Hall where it will lie-in-state for members of the public to pay their respects until Monday 19 September, the day of the late monarch's funeral.
The Queen's coffin was followed on foot by her four children, King Charles III, 73, Princess Anne, 72, Prince Andrew, 62, and Prince Edward, 58, as well as her grandsons, Prince William, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, - who walked side-by-side - and Peter Phillips, 44, who is the son of Princess Anne.
