BTS Postpones Entire 'Map Of The Soul' World Tour

We may all be on quarantine mode due to the coronavirus pandemic but BTS is keeping ARMY plenty of company in the past few months. If COVID-19 didn't exist, BTS would currently be touring the United States but the Map of the Soul Tour dates have either been cancelled or rescheduled to an indefinite time. Nevertheless, through virtual medium modes, the septet is on a mission to keep their fans entertained as new content welcomes ARMY almost every day.

BTS has been spending downtime in South Korea after their Map of the Soul tour concerts were cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Although the Bangtan Boys have been spending time together, working on new music and hosting VLives to stay in touch with the ARMY, they are also using the period to indulge in activities that wouldn't have been possible if they were touring. For example, RM stepped out to enjoy a meal at a restaurant in South Korea's Gapyeong. 

Although the summer hasn't gone as per planned for BTS, Big Hit Entertainment has been making up for the cancelled concerts with numerous alternative plans. The South Korean agency threw an at-home concert with Bang Bang Con and RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, V, J-Hope and Suga have been constantly interacting with the ARMY via VLives and Weverse.

As we're still obsessing over Map of the Soul: 7, which recently sold 500,000 pure copies in the US (becoming the 1st album of 2020 to do so as well as a first-ever for a K-pop act to achieve this feat), BTS is already working hard on their next album. This time, their upcoming project is going to be extremely personal as the members have important shoes to fill in the making of the album.

BTS has a massive fan following, to say the least, not just in Korea but all over the world. Even in India, Desimys is growing by the second as the septet breaks international records with every album and song that releases. Even Map of the Soul: 7, which dropped in February 2020 is enjoying massive success with 500,000 copies sold in the US; the first album of 2020 and first-ever K-pop group to achieve this feat. Its truly been a terrific journey for the Bangtan Boys.

Before the deadly coronavirus pandemic took over the world, BTS was celebrating the success of their latest outing, Map of the Soul: 7. Not only did the album secure BTS the #1 spot on Billboard 200 Chart as well as the #8 spot for the lead single, ON, on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs Chart (A career-best ranking for BTS so far!), MOTS: 7 has also become the first album of 2020 to sell 500,000 copies in the US, while also being the first K-pop group to accomplish this impressive feat.

BTS is breaking several international records. Not only is the K-Pop band ruling the Billboard charts for years now, but the music band also boasts of milestone sales and jam-packed stadiums during their tours.

As the world continues to combat the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, high schools across the United States have closed, and college campuses have completely emptied out. With many institutions turning to online learning to help students finish out their academic years, that leaves many seniors, in particular, attending virtual graduation ceremonies and proms to make up for the pivotal life moments they might otherwise miss out on.

Okay, this proves that Taehyung stans aren't the only ones who find the BTS singer handsome. V has been declared as the most handsome man of 2020 in the whole wide world by the YouTube channel "Top 10 World." The South Korean singer, who has proved he's one helluva singer with his songs with the Septem and solo songs, proved he also has a ridiculously charming face. TaeTae was given the title by the YouTube channel that boasts of over 300 thousand subscribers. 

The Kids Choice Awards 2020 took place this weekend and BTS won the Favourite Music Group award. The iconic orange trophy floated from the US and travelled all the way to South Korea. RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, V, Suga and J-Hope accepted the award with huge smiles and thanked the ARMY for all their support in the virtual ceremony. Namjoonie kicked off the acceptance speech by saying, "Wow this is amazing. Thank you so much. So happy to get this award.” 

The Coronavirus-induced lockdown in the US did dampen the spirits of Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2020. The annual KCA was previously scheduled to take place in March.
