BTS Members Launch Personal Instagram Accounts After Announcing Break

Jordan Moreau Three members of superstar K-pop group BTS have tested positive for COVID-19 over the past two days, their management company Big Hit Music has announced.On Saturday, RM and Jin tested positive for COVID-19 one day after fellow member Suga was also diagnosed. The three members completed their second rounds of COVID vaccinations in late August, Big Hit Music said, and none of them had contact with each other or other BTS members.

Two more members of BTS have tested positive for COVID-19 following the Dec. 24 announcement that Suga had tested positive, and was self-isolating.

BTS have officially joined Instagram with individual accounts.On December 6, all members of the septet – comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jungkook – shared their first posts on their respective new Instagram accounts. In years past, the group’s members had shared personal images through the @BTS_twt Twitter account or the community app Weverse.Since the accounts were launched, each member of the group has amassed over 16million followers.

Just hours later, members RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Suga and V all launched separate Instagram accounts.

The BTS boys are expanding their presence on Instagram.
