Britain's Got Talent and has been in the public eye ever since. The Portsmouth born presenter, grew up in the town of Bishop’s Waltham near Southampton and joined a theatre company aged nine.

Her first notable acting role was as the main character in the musical stage show Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2004, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.
The actress then played the character of Sarah Trevanian in three series of ITV ’s Wild at Heart, from 2006 to 2008. Now 50, Amanda presents the breakfast show on Heart FM with her co-host Jamie Theakston.
Amanda was married to comedian Les Dennis - the pair tied the knot in June 1995 but divorced in 2003. She later married record producer Chris Hughes in 2008 and had two children together Alexa who was born in 2006, and Hollie, born in 2012.
Amanda often posts photos of the children on her Instagram account, as well as numerous photos of herself wearing stylish outfits and glamorous dresses.
