BRIT Awards 2022 confirmed to go ahead as public voting opens

Brit Awards ceremony is taking place on Tuesday 8 February, at its usual spot at the O2 Arena in London. Some of the biggest names in music will be in attendance, including Ed Sheeran and Adele, as prizes are handed out and some of the nominees perform their songs live. Fans who aren’t able to watch the event from the O2 Arena itself – including international viewers – will be able to tune in via a number of different platforms, including ITV, YouTube and social media.

Details of Adele’s dressing room requests have reportedly been leaked ahead of her live performance at the Brit Awards on Tuesday night – and the items aren’t as exciting as fans might have expected. While some artists are known for having extravagant demands backstage such as trays of white wine bottles, white vases and draping all over the walls, the British singer has toned down her recent requests, according to a source.

Adele is among the artists booked to perform at this year’s Brit Awards ceremony. The annual music awards show is being hosted once again at the O2 Arena in London, on Tuesday 8 February.

Doja Cat will no longer perform at the BRIT Awards 2022, following a raft of positive COVID-19 tests amongst her crew.

Doja Cat has cancelled her appearance at the 2022 BRIT Awards after members of her road crew tested positive for COVID-19.In a tweet shared yesterday (January 31), the artist confirmed that “numerous members” of her touring crew (“both on and off stage”) had tested positive.“Unfortunately, due to cases of COVID within my crew, I will no longer be performing at the Brits,” Doja wrote. “It’s simply not safe for us to continue to rehearse together and put each other in harm’s way. I can’t wait to perform for my UK fans as soon as I can.
