It has been more than a year since drama Bridgerton shot to fame on Netflix and proved an instant hit.
The first series of the raunchy period drama arrived on the streaming platform back in December 2020, and within a month was watched by a record 82 million households around the world, breaking Netflix records.
So it comes as no surprise that Bridgerton wasn't just renewed for another series, but a series three and four as well, after viewers fell in love with regency London debutant Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, and the Duke of Hastings, portrayed by Rege-Jean Page.

However, the upcoming second series, released today, will focus on Daphne's eldest brother Anthony Bridgerton and his quest to finally find a bride. And while Simon Bassett, aka the Duke of Hastings, may not be making a reappearance, Phoebe will be reprising the role of Daphne with her and the Duke's baby in two to help her older brother find a suitable wife.
Actress Phoebe was one of the standout stars of the first season and has since bag her film debut in British drama film The Colour Room, which is based on the life of 1920s and 30s ceramic artist Clarice Cliff, and she's also set to start in the new Netflix biopic, Bank Of Dave, based on the successes of self-made millionaire Dave Fishwick.
And it'd be fair to say acting is in her blood as she's the daughter of a very familiar face. Trafford-born Phoebe is the eldest daughter of Coronation Street icon Sally Dynevor.
