Marc Pilcher was a British hair and makeup designer who won an Emmy Award for his work on “Bridgerton.”Pilcher was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on “Mary Queen of Scots” (2018). He won several Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylist Guild Awards for his work on “Downton Abbey” as well as the Netflix hit “Bridgerton.” Set in Regency-era England, “Bridgerton” was notable for its large cast and wide variety of ever-changing hairstyles.

Bridgerton has died of COVID-19.Pilcher, whose past credits included Beauty And The Beast, Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, and Downtown Abbey, was double-vaccinated and had no underlying health conditions.
