And Mee, who came through the youth team ranks at City, believes the Bees will be doing all they can to finish seventh when they take on his former side. He is glad City have already wrapped up the title and believes the encounter on Sunday afternoon will be a competitive one.
He said: “For us, we’ve got a chance to go into Europe. We can finish in seventh if results go our way, so we’ll obviously be raring to go and wanting to win this last game for us, and I’m sure City will want to do that as well and end a really good season for them on a high as well for their travelling fans.
“It’ll be a competitive game, it won’t be an end-of-season style game. It’ll be competitive and hopefully a good game.”
