Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in Salford.
The victim, 41, died after being stabbed in a property on Liverpool Road in Eccles.
Police said they were called to reports of a 'disturbance' at 11.10am today.
Medics tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men, both aged 34, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody for questioning.
