Boy left with swollen face after being 'punched by grown man' at pal's house

An 11 year-old boy has been left 'shaken up' after he claims that he was violently attacked by a grown man who punched him in the face at a friend's house. Kayla Birks, from Wirral, said her son Milo went round to his pal's house on November 19 and was assaulted by a 26-year-old man who was also in the property, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Milo has been left with red marks and swelling across his face as a result of the unprovoked attack which his mum says has traumatised the school boy. The furious mother told the ECHO: '"He had gone round to his friend's house in Moreton on Saturday, and for absolutely no reason some 26-year-old man has just punched him in the face.
"He just walked into the house with his friend to have a good time and was attacked by a fully grown man. He has been really shaken up since it happened, I had to keep him off school on Monday, and I've been onto the police everyday trying to get something done."
Milo's dad had walked his son round to his friend's house and ran inside when he heard the disturbance going on from outside. Kayla added: "His dad heard crying from inside the house and just got him out of there, he was crying and his face was all red and swollen, it was horrible.
"I can't believe people can go around physically punching children in the face, and as far as I'm aware the man hasn't even been questioned by police yet." Kayla who has been left raging by the attack said she wanted to go and confront the man himself but knew that phoning the police was probably the wiser decision.
She added: "I wanted to go down there and confront them but I thought the police would be a better route. He is still shaken up and scared but we got him back into school on Tuesday for some sense of
