Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastien Kehl and centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck have both claimed that Erling Haaland is not Manchester City's biggest threat ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League tie.
The fixture at the Etihad Stadium will be the first time Haaland has faced Dortmund since leaving the Bundesliga club in the summer to join City. Pep Guardiola's decision to move for the Norwegian has seemingly paid off so far with the 22-year-old having scored 12 goals in just seven Premier League and Champions League matches.
Although his goalscoring form has earned praise across the footballing landscape, both Kehl and Schlotterbeck are wary about City's other threats. "[It’s] not just about Erling Haaland," Kehl told Radio Zwickau.

"Man City are a very strong team overall, is a favourite in the group. Possibly the favourite in the Champions League but why shouldn't we [cause a] surprise there."
Meanwhile, Schlotterbeck made a confident prediction ahead of Wednesday's match. "In that game [Freiburg 2-1 Dortmund, 2021], I realised how good I can be," he added.
"I know how to stop Erling Haaland. We have to stop Manchester City as a whole, Erling is the least of our problems."
Both City and Dortmund started off their Champions League campaigns with victories. The Blues won 4-0 away at Sevilla while BVB beat FC Copenhagen 3-0.
There had been some initial doubt that the fixture would be played on Wednesday following the death of the Queen, which casued City's Premier League match with Tottenham Hotspur to be postponed. However, UEFA have ruled that the Dortmund match will go ahead as scheduled.
