Cosmetics retailer Boots has announced it will be making a major change that will affect all shoppers with one of their advantage cards.
The loyalty scheme allows card holders to earn points in-store which can in turn be used to purchase items when shopping in one of their stores.
Now, the health and beauty retailer has announced it will officially be bringing back its Price Advantage Initiative immediately across all stores.
This means shoppers with a loyalty card will be able to access exclusive discounts across a range of 150 products a month, reports Glasgow Live.
The retailer initially trialled the scheme last year and it has now been brought permanently for shoppers looking to get up to 50 per cent off selected items in-store.
Only Boots card holders will be able to access the exclusive discounts which will be advertised by pink stickers in-stores.
Tesco shoppers will realise that this sounds familiar, as only Clubcard members are allowed to access a lot of the discounts with the British supermarket.
Card holders will be able to take advantage of the deals in-store by showing their Advantage card at the checkout and the discount will be applied.
The Boots Advantage Card is free to sign up and let's shopper earn points and access a variety of exclusive deals and discounts in-store and online.
Shoppers are able to earn four points for every £1 that they spend to then treat themselves.
All points are worth 1p in return - meaning if you collect 100 points, you’d have £1 to spend, while 1,000 points are worth £10.
