Bolton Wanderers are comfortable with the contract situation surrounding attacker Dapo Afolayan and Ian Evatt says decisions on other players whose terms are up next summer are not ready to be taken yet.
Afolayan has been at Wanderers since the start of 2021. An initial loan spell from West Ham United was converted to a permanent move last summer following his release by the Premier League side.
He signed a three-year deal with Bolton and his contract runs until the middle of 2024. He was the club's top scorer and player of the season last campaign after firing in 14 goals.

Will Aimson, Joel Dixon, Josh Sheehan, Kieran Lee, George Thomason, MJ Williams, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Elias Kachunga, Amadou Bakayoko and Lloyd Isgrove all have contracts which expire in the summer of 2023. Decisions are not ready to be taken on these just yet and will be looked at more as the season progresses.
Asked about Afolayan's contract, Evatt said: “Not yet, he’s got two years left, so we’re comfortable with where we’re at with him. Obviously I think there’s 10 out of contract in the summer, we’re not ready to make decisions on many of those yet because this is a big season and we want to see
