The transfer window has officially opened and rumours have circulated about which players might join Bolton Wanderers in the weeks to come
Wanderers finished last season in League One in ninth place and are seeking to mount a promotion push in earnest this campaign. The club had a successful January transfer window which is aiming to be built upon earlier this summer.
The players will soon to return to pre-season training later on this week. They will then depart for a week-long training camp on the Algarve in Portugal, with their opening pre-season friendly away to Longridge Town on Tuesday, June 28.

Wanderers are seeking quality over quantity this summer and not too many names have emerged in terms of speculation so far. However, the Whites have already made two signings with the capture of defender Jack Iredale from fellow League One side Cambridge United, as well as the return .

Conor Carty
The young Wolves forward is 20-years-old and is seeking a new club after leaving the youth team set-up at the Premier League outfit. He did not pick up a first team appearance while there.
Carty is capped at international level for the Republic of Ireland up to under-18 level. He was among one of eight players released by the Molineux side this summer.
Journalist Alan Nixon has reported on his Patreon page that Carty is poised to move to Wanderers and will be in Bolton on Friday to finalise a move to the League One club. Incidentally, that is when the first team squad reports back for pre-season training.
