Bolton Wanderers in tight League One battle as Ipswich Town & Sheffield Wednesday title favourites

The composition of League One is almost complete with only one more place left in the division for next season.
The play-off final over the weekend saw Sunderland book a place back in the Championship with victory over Wycombe Wanderers. The Black Cats join Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United in promotion back to the second tier of English football.
Only place remains in League One for the 2022/23 campaign and will be decided next weekend with the League Two play-off final. The victors of Port Vale and Mansfield Town will go up.

Bolton Wanderers will then have a full knowledge of their upcoming campaign and the teams they will face. The EFL fixture release date is Thursday, June 23, and the new season begins at the end of July.
Wanderers finished ninth in the campaign which has recently concluded and are among several ex-Premier League teams in the division as League One looks to be a challenging prospect once again in the months to come. Ian Evatt's side are among several targeting a place in the top six at least.
Bookmakers SkyBet have tipped Ipswich Town to claim top spot and are 11/2 favourites for the title. Sheffiled Wednesday, beaten in the play-off semi-finals by Sunderland, are second favourites (6/1) ahead of Derby (9/1) and Barnsley (12/1).
Bolton and Portsmouth are next in the list and have the same odds (14/1). The quartet of MK Dons, Oxford United, Peterborough United and Wycombe are given identical chances at this stage too (16/1).
