Bolton's Gethin Jones on Wanderers summer transfers, League One, Ipswich Town verdict & Wycombe

Gethin Jones is hoping Bolton Wanderers can build on their first point of the season on the road to Ipswich Town when they host Wycombe this weekend.
Wanderers got their campaign up and running last week with a draw at Portman Road against the Tractor Boys. Aaron Morley's penalty was cancelled out by Lee Evans' strike.
The Whites continue a challenging start to the campaign when they host the Chairboys this Saturday for the first game of the League One campaign at the University of Bolton Stadium. Gareth Ainsworth's side missed out on promotion to the Championship at the hands of Sunderland in the play-off final last season.

Jones says Wanderers were overall happy to get a point at Portman Road, but feels they could have been productive on the ball against the Tractor Boys. He hopes they can build on this against Wycombe, which he knows will be a difficult encounter.
He said: "We were quite disappointed with Saturday in the end not getting the way we like to play, but to come away from there with a point in the end because we had our backs up against the wall the last 15 minutes, we were pleased so we’ll move on to Wycombe.
"We obviously came off the pitch at the end, we were disappointed because I felt first half – especially the 35 minutes before they scored – we were all over them. Obviously, got the penalty and felt like we could have had a few more chances. I think second half, they just sort of took over.
"But in previous season that I’ve been here, I feel like we would have gone under and maybe lost that game. For us as a team to just grind it out and keep working hard – it didn’t happen for us in the
