Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt has backed his strikers to get in the goalscoring groove once again and voiced his backing of them during the transfer window when he opted against bringing in further reinforcements in that department.

Gethin Jones believe Bolton Wanderers must now push on in League One after finding themselves in the top six following a tough start to the campaign.
Wanderers entered the international break sitting fifth in the table. That position could change today given the amount of activity in the division this weekend.
Bolton are not in action this weekend due to their game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park being postponed due to international call-ups. They are next due to be in action next Saturday at home against Lincoln City.

Wanderers have lost just twice this season in the league against Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle. But they have claimed some impressive scalps too with victories over Wycombe Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, MK Dons and Peterborough United, as well as a draw on the opening day of the season against Ispwich Town.
And Jones wants the Whites to kick on when they return to action. He believes they are making progress on a pre-season goal of being on the scoresheet first in the big clashes.
He said: “We have to push on now because we want to be in and around that top six this season. It has been a tough start for us and we have come up against some very good sides. We have matched them, I think, and we are in a good place at the moment.
“The first thing we said in pre-season was that we had to do better against the top teams in the league, and the biggest factor was that first goal. We felt like when we went 1-0 down in those big games last season we still dominated but we got nothing.
