It has been announced by Netflix that the zombie apocalypse thriller has been renewed for an eight-episode second season, Deadline reports. Black Summer stars Jaime King, who will now serve as a producer for season two. The show also stars Justin Chu Cary and Christine Lee.
Production is set to begin in early 2020 in Alberta, Canada.
