We all love a good pancake, but not as much as five year old Arthur Shepherd it appears, as the youngster had a temper tantrum after being told he had to share the last one with his sister. Arthur and Nelly, eight, had got back from a day at school on Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, when the pair went to the kitchen to have a snack. Greg, 37, joked that the kids acted like they hadn’t eaten in ages when they returned home from school as they ransacked the kitchen, when the pair were offered some pancakes.
Eventually there was only one left, with mum Billie, 32, telling her son he had to share it. Hell then broke loose in the Shepherd household as Arthur began to scream as he threw a tantrum while his bewildered parents wondered how things had escalated so quickly. Speaking to the cameras, Billie said: “That was the biggest meltdown.
He just lost the plot over it!” Agreeing, Greg said: “It just went from zero to 100. I just remember looking over and thinking ‘What is going on? This is over a pancake.’” As his tantrum progressed, Arthur was marched up to his room by his dad, where he was told to stay in there until he’d calmed down. As time passed, the youngster came downstairs with his tail between his legs as he apologised to his parents.
Arthur wasn’t the only one throwing tantrums on this evening’s episode as eight year old Nelly also had a “meltdown”. Billie was taking part in a sweet photoshoot with her kids Nelly and Arthur, when Nelly proved that she’d had enough and stormed off.The trio had been posing up a storm when Nelly decided she didn’t want to wear a cardigan she’d been asked to for the next set of photographs. Locking herself in the bathroom, Nelly slammed the door as dad Greg, tried to coax her out.
