Suzie Wells has opened up about her struggles with the menopause after her daughter Billie Shepherd took her to see a specialist. In the latest episode of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries, mum-of-two Billie, 32, accompanied her mum Suzie, 53, to an appointment with a menopause specialist, after she recently opened up about her struggles on the ITVBe show. "I stopped my periods probably about four years ago," Suzie told the doctor.
"In the beginning, it wasn't too bad then I started getting the hot flushes." She went on to further detail her symptoms, revealing that she's finding sleeping difficult and managing her emotions. Mum-of-two Suzie said: "I don't sleep. I have two hours...
wake up, then I'm awake for three hours. The sweats, emotions." Billie, who is currently pregnant with her third child, agreed with Suzie and said that she'd noticed her mum's mood swings recently. Explaining what's been happening, Suzie continued: "I don't get angry but I get really emotional over the silliest of things. And then, the memory loss.
Honestly, I could be doing something in work then think 'what was I doing?'" She added that it makes her feel like she's "going mad" as Billie supported her. Become an OK!
