He was brought up in Stockton-On-Tees in County Durham, after being born in Middlesborough. However, Marcus now lives in Canterbury in Kent.
Even though Marcus is in the public eye he likes to keep his love life low key but what we do know is that he is married to wife Jools. The couple tied the knot in 1997 and have three children together. Marcus recently shared a sweet throwback snap on Twitter of the pair on their wedding day.
He captioned the post: "Me and my Mrs. @joolsbentle celebrate our Silver Wedding this week. We’re having a wonderful time , great theatre and food and so much love! Nothing has changed.
"Marcus could be coming back to our screens in 2023 for the show’s revival. The voiceover artist hinted at his return by sharing a picture of his security pass from the year 2000. The star hinted that he’ll be returning to the show after a five-year hiatus.
Marcus tweeted a picture of himself looking fresh faced in the Big Brother set security pass, with the caption: “Might need a new pass - #BBUK”. Marcus Bentley made a return to TV in 2021 when he bagged a gig on an Amazon Prime talent show. Marcus did voice over got the X Factor-style show, Now That's Entertainment.
At the time the narrator shared his excitement to voice his first talent show while also admitting he felt "lost" after his Big Brother gig ended in 2018. He told The Mirror: "None of us knew it would ever be so big. I do feel a bit lost without it.
