BGT viewers convinced semi-final act stormed off after being booted off in tense results show

Britain's Got Talent winner Axel Blake has denied claims the show is "fixed" and has hit back at people who suggested he was "already famous". Viewers were left outraged Sunday night's final result as the dad of two triumphed over 13 year old ventriloquist Jamie Leahey during the live final. Many felt the comedian's "fame" had helped him after he already has his own show on Amazon Prime.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden was left visibly shocked as her Golden Buzzer act Loren Allred failed to make the final three on Sunday's final of the ITV show. As hosts Ant and Dec announced the results, they said of Loren, who sang Never Enough in the hit film The Greatest Showman: "You are not in the final three." To which the camera panned to Amanda, 51, who was left visibly shocked as she was seen saying something to her judging panel.

Britain’s Got Talent was off to a dramatic start on Wednesday's live semi-final after Simon Cowell disagreed with co-judge David Walliams over Les Sancho's performance. During the opening of the show, Les Sancho put on an energetic performance to which Simon, 62, buzzed the act off by pressing the dreaded red button.The judge, who was called "Mr Grumpy" by hosts Ant and Dec, then told the booing audience: "Shut up!" David Walliams has explained why he uses a different chair to his co-judges on Britain’s Got Talent.The 2022 live semi-finals kicked off on Monday 30 May and eagle-eyed viewers were quick to notice that David, 50, had a different chair to his co-judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.Taking to Twitter, one person said: "#bgt has anyone else noticed that David is sitting in a different chair to the rest of the judges? Why is that." While a different account added: "I noticed that too! I'm not sure why he's sitting in a different chair, but I'm curious to find out!" However, David has explained the reason why he has a different chair to his co-judges, revealing that it is to do with a past back operation.Tweeting back in 2018, the star wrote: "For those of you who want to know why I have different chair to the other judges on @BGT it is because I had a back operation to remove a disc after my Thames swim for @sportrelief and so need to sit on chairs that are specially designed for people with back problems." David took part in Sport Relief in 2011, where he swam the length of the River Thames, which is around 140 miles.
