A solo Cohen returned to his Manhattan studio, called “the clubhouse,” last fall, but his guests and the show’s audience have remained virtual.

For more than a year, Stephen Colbert has been been hosting “The Late Show” (or, as he’s been calling it, “A Late Show”) remotely, originally from his home and, more recently, from a small set within the Ed Sullivan Theater built within a small office that once served as a storage closet.

“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will return to the The Ed Sullivan Theater on June 14 with a full, vaccinated audience, the CBS late-night show revealed Monday.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at LargeNBC is getting a New Deal for Christmas, as it gets back into the live TV musical business with “Annie Live!” Set to air during the holidays, “Annie” also represents a homecoming of sorts for producers Bob Greenblatt and Neil Meron.Greenblatt, of course, is the former NBC Entertainment chairman who found success in bringing live musicals to the network, starting with “The Sound of Music Live!” in 2013.

Brit Awards take place tonight (Tuesday 11 May), marking the first live large-scale indoor event since March last year. The ceremony will be taking place as usual at the O2 Arena and will include a number of live performances.
