Beat The Chasers left Bradley Walsh and viewers alike in stitches as one contestant's thick accent caused the presenter to make an awkward blunder in the studio on Wednesday night. Paisley contestant Anne arrived on the podium eager to try and earn some money with her quizzing prowess, but during her initial chat with the host, things quickly took a nosedive. When asked what she does for a living, Anne quickly answered that she was a career adviser.
Missing her words after discovering that the player had a strong Northern Irish accent, Bradley misheard. "A creative writer?" he asked seriously, as Anne started giggling away. Having repeated herself, the audience started snickering over the host's gaffe.

But Anne proved she was just as able to banter with the ITV stars when she quipped back: "Perhaps you need some advice?" "Alright you stand there," Bradley ordered through laughter, and the pair temporarily swapped roles. "Where are you from? What do you do?" Anne chuckled, as Bradley declared all he does all day is "wander around TV studios".
While viewers at home were enjoying the funny exchange, they became more enthralled by the contestant's quirky outfit. Wearing a pair of retro denim turn-up jeans and a vintage red polka dot shirt, the auburn-haired contestant showed off her fabulous style. "Oim a careers advisor "A creative writer?.lol Brad #BeatTheChasers," one person laughed on Twitter.
