The Scots winner of The Traitors has quit her call centre job in a bid to follow her TV dreams.
Fans of the BBC show were delighted as Edinburgh woman Meryl Williams took home the prize pot cash alongside contestants Hannah Byczkowski and Aaron Evans in last night’s big finale of the surprise smash hit BBC show.

Meryl said: "I was in shock. I literally dropped to the floor when Wilf told us he was a traitor. I did not believe it. I felt complete shock like, 'How did you lie to me and Hannah for so long?' But it's a game and he was playing the game so well."
It's been recently reported that the reality TV game show will return next year for a second series, and Claudia Winkleman is expected to return as
