Claudia Winkleman took a savage dig at the Tories during Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night.
It follows the resignation of Liz Truss, who stood down as Prime Minister after just 44 days on Thursday, saying that she could no longer fulfil the mandate she promised to the country just last month.
Claudia's savage attack came as she introduced an upcoming dance from Hamza and Jowita, saying: "Hamza is taking on a tricky ballroom dance and if he's any good at leading, I'll be frank, the country might have a job for him," reports The Mirror.
Following Liz Truss' decision to resign, the Conservative Party will now choose another leader whilst The Mirror leads calls for a general election. Sir Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labour Party, has also called for a general election.
Penny Mordaunt was the first to declare she would be running to be leader.
Taking to Twitter, she confirmed she would be running: "I’ve been encouraged by support from colleagues who want a fresh start, a united party and leadership in the national interest. I’m running to be the leader of the Conservative Party and your Prime Minister - to unite our country, deliver our pledges and win the next GE."
Elsewhere, Rishi Sunak and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson are also thought to be garnering up support amongst the Tory party, but neither have confirmed for sure. Boris is believed to have hit 100 backers, according to his allies.
