EastEnders fans, he's a blast from the past! In 2012, he rolled-up to Walford as Ray Dixon - the ex-partner of loud-mouth Bianca Jackson and the father to her young son Morgan Butcher. He had a small role in Matt Damon's 2007 action thriller Bourne Ultimatum and in the 2012 Batman film The Dark Night Rises alongside the likes of Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, and Morgan Freeman. In Bourne Ultimatum, Charles played Agent Hammond and in The Dark Knight Rises he was one of the bodyguards of villain Gambol. He landed himself a spot on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, where he and partner Karen Clifton finished in 6th place.
Charles was born in Paddington and studied acting at West London College, Hammersmith. He grew up on the notorious Mozart estate, which was "a tough area at the time". He told Flavour magazine: "It was a tough area at that particular time.
