CBS is not proceeding with a fifth season of Magnum P.I. With Bull announcing in January that its current sixth season will be its last, Magnum P.I. is the most established CBS series to be canceled this season. As a Top 25 show in total viewers, it also may be the most watched broadcast series to get the axe this upfront season.

The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico will not return after four seasons. Season 4 will air as planned beginning June 6.

Selome Hailu NBC has canceled sitcom “Mr. Mayor” after two seasons.Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the series stars Ted Danson as Neil Bremer, a retired businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles to prove he’s “still got it.” Once he wins, he has to figure out what he stands for, gain the respect of his biggest critic, deputy mayor Arpi Meskimen (Holly Hunter), and connect with his teenage daughter Orly (Kyla Kenedy), all while trying to get anything right for America’s second weirdest city. The cast also includes Vella Lovell as Neil’s chief of staff and social media influencer Mikaela Shaw, Mike Cabellon as chief strategist Tommy Tomás and Bobby Moynihan as communications director Jayden Kwapis.

As Kenan moves on from the loss of his wife a year earlier, his live-in father-in-law Rick (Don Johnson), his brother/manager/roommate Gary (Chris Redd) and his colorful co-workers all have strong opinions on the best way for him to live his life.

CBS has opted not to renew the Chuck Lorre-produced comedy series B Positive for a third season, Deadline has learned. The decision follows the cancellation last night of another Lorre-produced sophomore CBS comedy series, United States Of Al. Both had been heavily on the bubble but, given Lorre’s standing as the network’s top comedy producer of the last two decades, there was an expectation that at least one of the two shows may make the cut for next season.

Riley, who has separated from his wife, makes room for Al in his Ohio home, and together they struggle to adjust to their post-combat lives.Creators David Goetsch and Maria Ferrari, who worked for Lorre on “The Big Bang Theory,” began kicking around the idea for “Al” after seeing stories on the plight of 17,000 Afghan interpreters who have been promised asylum in the United States, but are still waiting to be granted entry.
