Avril Lavigne got hot-headed while performing in Canada on Monday night as the singer was interrupted by a topless environmental campaigner. The princess of pop-punk confronted the protester on stage at the Juno Awards.
Avril, who is from Ontario, Canada, was at the music awards and festival in Edmonton, to introduce Punjabi-Canadian rapper and singer AP Dhillon.

It is currently under investigation by the province's auditor general and integrity commissioner.

The Sk8er Boi singer later returned to the stage to accept her TikTok Juno fan choice gong. She joked about the incident saying: “Now nobody try anything this time or the Canadian is going to come out of me, and I’m going to f*** a b**** up."
In her acceptance speech, the My Happy Ending singer acknowledged her 20 years in the industry and since then has seen it change so much.
