Asylums announce details of new album ‘Signs of Life’

Ozzy Osbourne has announced his new album ‘Patient Number 9’ with the release of its title track ahead of the record’s release this September.The album’s title track also features guitar work from Jeff Beck, who joins an A-list cast of musicians guest-starring on the track including Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Zakk Wylde, and producer Andrew Watt.A music video has also been released alongside the single that sees Ozzy portraying the titular patient, hunched over in what appears to be a room in a mental asylum before he falls into a comic-book-esque world of madness. Starcrawler have announced details of a new album called ‘She Said’ along with the release of a video for its title track – watch it below.The band’s first album for a major label will come out on September 16 via Big Machine, and follows the release of new single ‘Roadkill’ last month.The LA-based five-piece – comprising frontwoman Arrow De Wilde, guitarists Henri Cash and Bill Cash, drummer Seth Carolina and bassist Tim Franco – released their self-titled debut album in 2018, following it up the next year with ‘Devour You’.Speaking about the new song in a statement, De Wilde said: “’She Said’ was one of the first songs written for this album. Wunderhorse has announced details of his debut album ‘Cub’ and a headline show in London.The band – the project of former Dead Pretties frontman Jacob Slater – emerged last year with debut single ‘Teal’ and have shared a handful of singles since.On September 16, ‘Cub’ will land via Communion and feature ‘Teal’ among other recent singles including ’17’, ‘Butterflies’ and ‘Poppy’.“I was tired of having to get up on stage and pretend I wanted to throw myself around and smash things up every night and sing these intense songs,” Slater said in a statement about his transition from Dead Pretties to Wunderhorse.“They were good songs, but I didn’t think we’d be able to transition into doing the more introspective music that I wanted to make.
