Armie Hammer Won't Be Charged with Sexual Assault, District Attorney Explains Why in Statement

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has decided not to press charges against Armie Hammer for an alleged sexual assault.
The alleged rape was first reported by a woman who identified herself as “Effie” back in February of 2021.

The D.A.’s office said (via Variety), “In this case, those prosecutors conducted an extremely thorough review, but determined that at this time, there is insufficient evidence to charge Mr. Hammer with a crime. As prosecutors, we have an ethical responsibility to only charge cases that we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt… Due to the complexity of the relationship and inability to prove a non-consensual, forcible sexual encounter we are unable to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.”

If you don’t know, in early 2021, Armie made headlines after some of his alleged DMs were leaked online.
In one of the DMs, which were allegedly sent by Armie, he reportedly said, “I am 100% a cannibal.” One of his exes revealed some graphic things he said to her about eating her and another revealed the “violating” thing he allegedly did without her consent.
